Georg Heym (1887–1912) was the son of a Prussian military lawyer. He studied law unwillingly in Berlin, wrote poetry and was taken up by a mainly Jewish bohemian literary group. He drowned in a skating accident aged twenty-four.
Antony Hasler is Associate Professor of English at Saint Louis University, Missouri. Born in North London, he studied English at the University of Cambridge. He is editor for the online journal Literary Compass.
